Lightweight+Trapeze Dresses
Hey guys! Tank dresses in lightweight fabric, like this royal blue chiffon dress, are a big fashion trend this summer for a very practical reason: they keep you cool. I find that the thinness of the fabric makes it extremely breathable, which really helps out if you’re going to be running errands on a July day or even going to a Saturday night cookout.
I got this dress from Belk here, which I paid full price for, but of course is on sale now haha. Lucky you! The shoes are from Unisa and are no longer sold, but here is another pair that look pretty similar and are, again, on sale.

Preppy Pick Me Up
As many of you may know, this Sunday is “National Wear your Lilly Day”. I’m starting early and wearing a little Jellies Be Jammin’! I added a little cardigan because I’m so cold natured and would get cold in a 75 degree house. I kept my makeup nice and simple with a neutral wash of color in my crease and my favorite BB as my base. If you’d like to see a tutorial, let me know! Jellies is easily one of my favorite prints– next to Let’s Cha Cha and First Impression– that really helps kick the scortching hot days of summer off!

Hot Summer Days
Hey guys! If there’s anything I know about this Carolina heat, it’s that the only way to combat it is with a light shift dress from J.Crew! The shoes I’m wearing for this particular outfit are Palms. They’re basically white Jack Rogers minus the sore feet and high price! The background of this shoot is adorable, don’t you think? My boyfriend and I went out to the public boat landing in our county. I hope you enjoy!
